Skill Batch Publisher

Publish many local OpenClaw skills to ClawHub in one go — batched, rate-limit aware, and resumable. Point it at a folder of skills; it queues them, publishes a few per run, retries on rate limit, and picks up where it left off next time.

Why

ClawHub's CLI publishes one skill per call. When you have dozens of skills, doing it by hand is slow and easy to forget. This skill turns "publish my whole library" into a single command (or a cron job) that never exceeds ClawHub's rate limits and never loses your place.

Requirements

  • clawhub CLI installed and logged in (clawhub login, then clawhub whoami).
  • A folder of skills, each in its own subfolder with a SKILL.md.

Usage

# Publish up to 5 skills from ./my-skills, then stop (resumable)
bash publish_batch.sh ./my-skills --batch-size 5

# Queue everything and let cron finish it (recommended for big libraries)
bash publish_batch.sh ./my-skills --queue /tmp/remaining_skills.txt

How it works

  1. Lists skill subfolders; skips any already in the published log.
  2. Publishes --batch-size (default 5) per invocation via clawhub skill publish <dir> --slug <name> --changelog "...".
  3. On Rate limit, stops and keeps the rest queued for the next run.
  4. Appends successful slugs to published_slills.txt so re-runs are idempotent.

Notes

  • Safe to re-run: already-published skills are skipped.
  • Keep batches small (3–5) to stay under ClawHub rate limits.
  • This skill only publishes; it never modifies your skills or ClawHub account settings.
